Marcus D. Clarke is a director, writer, producer and music producer from Northern Virginia residing in Philadelphia.

He’s been working in the motion picture industry for almost 10 years. Marcus has worked on films with great teams such as Marvel’s Thor Ragnarok, Ant-Man and the Wasp and MGM’s Creed 2. He’s also worked on television series such as HBO’s Mare of Easttown, Apple’s The Servant, and the PBS independent Lens docuseries Philly DA.

He was awarded the Independence Public Media Fund for his first feature documentary “This Too is Liberia,” in which he co-directed and produced with fellow filmmaker Artina Nimpson. Marcus was also selected as a grantee from IPMF and the Wyncote Foundation for his in progress short documentary, “Dance Transplant”.

Marcus also plays with soundscapes to score movies and makes lofi, alternative hiphop / pop with Mark Rascati. They go under the name Mark & Marcus and have been a powerhouse music making duo for more than 10 years.
